Description
Marshall Park Campground is comprised of 16 sites arranged in a large loop, of which seven are paved pull-through sites and nine are dead-end gravel spurs.
It is the closest Forest campground to the town of Creede, but offers very little screening or trees, so any vehicle traffic along Colorado Highway 149 is visible and audible.
The sun also hits most of campground in the late morning, which means cool morning temperatures, but there is not much afternoon shade. All sites come with a parking spur, a picnic table. and a fireplace ring. There is a vault toilet designed for handicapped usage, which is also accessible for wheelchairs as it has a night light.
