Description

Mogote Campground sits among ponderosa, aspen, spruce, cottonwood and juniper trees, and is composed of two loops - Upper and Lower. The Lower Loop offers some sites next to the Conejos River, making it a pleasant and attractive campground that is excellent for both the transient and destination camper. There is also a Juniper Group Picnic and Camping Area nearby. The campground features a total of 40 campsites, with 21 being pull-throughs, that come with picnic tables and fireplaces, four vault type toilets, drinking water through hydrants, and trash bins for convenience.
