Description
Piñon Flats is a National Park Service campground located one mile north of the Visitor Center, offering 91 campsites and three group sites. The campground also features good mobile reception, food storage lockers, trash bins, a camp store, ice and firewood for sale, an amphitheater, a dump station, and drinking water.

Please be aware that each site is unique and may not accommodate 2 tents of any size or 2 vehicles. A few sites may fit up to three small tents.

For the 2018 summer season (May 1 - September 20), ALL campsites at Piñon Flats are available to reserve through the National Recreation Reservation System online or contact them by phone at 1(877) 444-6777. Any sites not reserved become available as first-come, first-served.

Really nice campground. 20$ pr night. Dump station and water. Nice view of the dunes. We stayed in 66. Reservations is a good idea.
