Description
If you have your horse with you and you happen to be in Sulphur Ranger District, you may camp at South Fork which is the only campground in the district designated for horse camping. It has a small corral for one or 2 horses.
South Fork has 21 single sites and 1 group site that can accommodate up to 25 people. Each site has picnic tables, fire rings, and tent pads. Vault toilets, drinking water, and trash services are available. Campers can explore nearby trails and Byers Peak Wilderness.
Camping fee is $19 a night for single site and $55 for group site. The campground is open from June to October
