Description
St. Vrain State Park is a nature and people-friendly park spanning 604 acres of land and 152 acres of water, split among several ponds. Anglers, campers, photographers, birders, walkers and anyone who loves nature would definitely enjoy the park, as there are amenities including 87 modern camping facilities, trails, fishing piers and more.
The park is also home to a variety of wildlife such as coyote, red fox, bobcat, white-tailed and mule deer, and more. There are also different species of reptiles and amphibians including the Snapping Turtle, Painted Turtle, Soft-shell Turtle, Bullfrog, Chorus Frog, Northern Watersnake, Bullsnake, and a couple species of Garter Snakes.

This campsite was OK has electricity, toilets, coin operated showers. We didn't have a parks pass but were still able to stay a night.
