Description

Note: Based on guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), and state and local public health authorities, the park is open, but the Visitor & Research Center remains closed. Make the Mesa Verde Visitor and Research Center the first stop, so friendly park staff can help plan itineraries and answer questions. Located near the park entrance, it is the park's primary facility for orienting visitors to opportunities within the park and surrounding area. Visitors can also marvel at the state-of-the-art research and storage facility for the park's archives and museum collection of over three million objects. The center also houses the Mesa Verde Museum Association bookstore, which features books, trail guides, maps, and other items. Restrooms are located near the entrance to the visitor center, and there's free WiFi available in the visitor center lobby and parking lot area.
