From Mitchell Lake, hikers will climb a steep 1.5-mile which follows a creek in an open valley which leads to Blue Lake. Blue Lake lies at tree line below Mount Toll.

Very nice lake in the mountains. 3 miles hike from carpark. Get there as early as possible since there might be thunderstorms in the afternoon.
