Description

Glenwood Springs became a branch of Garfield County Libraries in 1969, and partnered with Colorado Mountain College for the construction of the building completed in September 2013. Today, the library is comprised of two stories: the first floor offers guests 14,000 sq. ft. of library space, a 250-person community room, a 12-person conference room, and three 4-person study rooms; and the second floor with 4,000 sq ft of library meeting space, which can be used as a classroom for up to 92 people, and 10,000 sq ft of Colorado Mountain College meeting space. In addition, the library has an outdoor community plaza providing a place for the public to relax and enjoy the Colorado sunshine.
