Description
From North Rim Ranger Station, the trail travels through sage and oak brush, pinyon and juniper forest along the Black Canyon's rim. About 1.5 miles, hikers will reach Exclamation Point which has incredible inner canyon views. If you're up for it, you can continue to Green Mountain for another 2 miles where you can have panoramic views of Black Canyon, San Juan Mountains, West Elks, Grand Mesa, and Uncompahgre Plateau.

The first section is 3 miles round trip and ends at a breathtaking view at Exclamation Point. The full trail is 7 miles round trip, after Exclamation Point climb 840 feet to the summit of Green mountain.
