Description

Try out the Thomas Lakes and Mount Sopris Trailhead, which can lead to two scenic spots: the peak of Mount Sopris and the beautiful Thomas Lakes. The trail is well-maintained, in good condition, and is heavily used on the weekends. The hike is a great one as visitors will see many wildflower and scenic overlooks. From Thomas Lakes, hikers may choose to climb Mt. Sopris, which is a steep four miles from the Lakes.
