Description
Trai Ridge Road stretches 48 miles between Estes Park on Rocky Mountain National Parks east side and Grand Lake on the west. In a matter of minutes, the travelers here climb around 4,000 feet. 11 miles of this road travel above tree line. It is a scenic road with changing settings from aspen and ponderosa pine forest, to thick subalpine forest of fir and spruce, then yields to alpine tundra.
