Description

Ute trail is an 8-mile roundtrip hike with moderate difficulty. It starts at 11,796 feet and ends at 10,759 feet. There are almost no trees along the trail making it completely exposed. Never Summer Mountain range and Cache la Poudre river can be viewed here. Visitors are reminded to stay on paved asphalt road to refrain from damaging alpine tundra plants. Picking flowers is also prohibited.
