Description
The Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens sits on 93 acres of parkland, gardens, landscapes, and hiking trails, with a focus on the regional plants, ecology and character of Southwestern New England.
Its herbarium is a collection of over 3,500 specimens, with most specimens coming from the Northeastern United States, and houses material from the Southeastern United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, Peru, the former Soviet Union,and Africa. This collection includes approximately 2,500 species of vascular plants, and 1,000 species of bryophyte.
