Description

Visit Alderman's Ford Conservation Park, with its most popular attraction being a 1.9-mile paved loop that follows the north and south prongs of the Alafia River, and is hiker, dog walker, and bicycle friendly. The park also has four remote campsites for those seeking a real wilderness experience, as the sites have a picnic table, hammock stands, and fire pits, but no water or electricity.

Four primitive campsites, nicely spaced and isolated from each other. Only accessible on foot or by bicycle. Must pre-reserve site by phone, then complete registration and pay camping fee at park office upon arrival. Super nice and peaceful. Firewood provided. Hammock hanging posts provided.
