Description

Fort Clinch was a significant fort during the Civil War. Today, visitors can explore its rooms, galleries and ground, and learn about the life of Union soldiers. It also has several trails for hiking and biking. Fishing, shelling, and shark-tooth hunting can also be done. A total of 69 sites in two campgrounds are available in the park, Amelia River and Atlantic Beach campgrounds. Both camps have a dump station, laundry machines, bathrooms and showers. Fire rings, picnic tables, water and electric hookups are also provided. Camping fee is $26 a night.
