Description
Highlands Hammock State Park has a three-mile paved loop drive through the hammock, which is ideal for bicycling beneath the beautiful shaded canopy. It also features 15 distinct natural communities, with a diverse habitat for wading birds, raptors, songbirds, migratory birds, and ducks.
The park offers a family campground with water and electric hookups, a dump station, access to restrooms with shower facilities, laundry and dishwashing areas. All sites have picnic tables and fire rings, as well as access to a recreation hall with a full kitchen, a large seating area, BBQ grills, restrooms, and a playground.
