Description

Visitors of the state park can learn more about the inhabitants and uses of Hontoon Island over the years. The island can only be accessed by private boat or park ferry. Boating, canoeing and fishing are top recreations in the park. It has 12 primitive tent sites with picnic tables and ground grill. Water and restrooms with showers can be accessed by guests. Museum, playground, pavilion, and cabins are also available. Camping fee is $30 to $35 a night.

Nice park but you need a ferry which goes from 8.00 a.m. until 7p.m. to the little island.
