Description

Whether you enjoy fishing, hiking, canoeing or kayaking, all can be done in Lake Griffin State Park. It also offers guided canoe and kayak tours for visitors who are afraid to explore on their own. It is also home to Florida's second largest live oak tree. The park has 40 sites for tents and RVs. Full hookups are available in some sites. Picnic tables, fire rings, dump station, showers, restrooms and laundry are located on site. Picnic pavilion, playground, exhibits, and boat ramp can also be accessed. Camping fee is $18 a night.

Small state park with a very nice campground: there's privacy, shade, good restrooms, laundry... and the 2nd largest live oak of Florida.
