Description
Hypoluxo Scrub Natural Area lets visitors to see what the area looked like before it was developed, where there are a series of plaques on the main level between the towers that explain the area's history from the early settlers in 1873 to Melton's Autorama in the 1960's.
See a 14' tall Barefoot Mailman statue by Frank Varga, which honors the men who braved the elements on the 120-mile round trip trek and boat ride to deliver the mail.

Large wooden lookout to view scrub area. Nice and shady on a hot day. Hiking trail through the scrub.
