Description

Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park has about 1.5 miles of trails that wind through a hardwood hammock, which lets visitors observe and see more than 40 species of trees and plants, as well as a variety of bird life. Visitors can go picnicking with the open picnic tables and limited shady tables throughout the quarries, or take guided tours of the park available from December to April.
