Kennedy Space Center is where human first left the Earth to explore space. Aside from being a working launch facility, it also provides visitors opportunities to see interactive exhibits, space films, and rocket launch.
It is open daily from 9am to 5pm. Admission fee starts at $57.

Needs a whole day at least. Lots of fascinating history. Space Shuttle simulator in the Atlantis building is lots of fun.
