Description

Thursby House was where Louis Thurby, one of the area's first European settlers, and his family lived in 1857. It is preserved to be a remnant of the transition period between frontier and modern state. Today, the house is now a museum and interpretive center. It has exhibits of steamship, railroad, candles, and electric bulbs.
