Anglers and boaters are attracted to visit Elijah Clark State Park because of its location on the western shore of Clarks Hill Lake. This lake is one of the largest in the southeast. It provides a fishing pier, boat ramp, and a sandy swimming beach. It has 172 sites for tents and RVs, 10 walk-in sites, and 20 cottages. It also has a Log Cabin Museum and a playground.
