Description
Kolomoki Mounds Historic Park is the oldest and largest Woodland Indian site in the southeastern United States. It was occupied by Indians from 350 to 750 A.D., and features Georgia's oldest great temple mound that stands at 57-feet high, dominating two smaller burial mounds and several ceremonial mounds.
It offers a wide range of outdoor activities, with two lakes providing fishing and boating, and a campground nestled under hardwoods and pines.
