Description

See Georgia's 'Little Grand Canyon', a testament to the power of man's influence on the land of Providence Canyon State Park. It features canyons with soils that are pink, orange, red, and purple hues that make a beautiful natural painting at this quiet park. Visitors can enjoy views of the canyons from the rim trail, or explore the deepest canyons and find a thin layer of water along the trail.

This park has a huge picnic area with tables, grills, toilets and playgrounds. There are scenic overlooks into the canyon and two walking trails in the canyon floor. One is 7 miles and the White Rim trail at 3 miles. Beautiful views from the canyon floors. Your shoes will likely get muddy.
