You can drive from sea level to 14,000 feet in about 2 hours, altitude sickness is a high possibility. It is highly recommend to stop at the Visitor Information Station to receive a weather update, safety info, & to adjust to the change in altitude. People who are pregnant or under the age of 13 should not go further than the info station.
