Description

Lying on a hillside at 5,700 feet, Big Elk Campground offers three partially shaded group sites equipped with picnic tables, grills, and campfire rings. Site A-1 has a picnic shelter and serving tables, and can hold up to 160 guests. Sites B-1 and B-2 can accommodate up to 50 people. There are also individual sites available on a first-come, first-served basis, as well as vault toilets, drinking water, and trash bins provided.
