Description
Over a hundred yards away from Helende campground is South Fork Payette River. Campers can go whitewater rafting, kayaking, and trout fishing in that area. Kirkham Hot Springs is also located nearby within less than 5 miles.
Helende campground has 15 reservable sites. Picnic tables, fire rings, water, and vault toilets are available. Dogs are allowed but must be on leash. It is open from May to September.
Camping fee is $12 a night.
