Description
Honeys is a free dry campground for short term stays, at a private home, not a commercial RV park. It is dry camping (ALL WATER MUST BE HAULED IN) and there are no restrooms on site so you either have to be self-contained or willing to run into town and use a public restroom. If commercial is what you're looking for keep looking or go to the perfectly good KOA next door. Honeys caters more to those who can't afford or don't want commercial. Limited sites with electrical hook-ups are available. Bookings are not required. Feel free to just turn up.
Open November 1st thru March 1st. There is no winter road maintenance.
The campground is suitable for everything from tents through to the largest RV. There is even an onsite van and a couple of hostel buses available for guests to sleep in. For the warm months Apr-Oct there should be a heated shower for folks without their own RV.
The park is named in honor of Honey (2007-2012), the owner's daughters yellow lab who has passed. The current dog Ruby walks the property so aggressive dogs are not allowed.
You also have to clean up after your kids and pets.
There is a County owned dump station 500 feet from Honeys.

Scar is ein cooler Typ. Es gibt keine Dusche. Wifi ist kostenlos Scar trinkt gerne Bier. Bringt ihm eins mit und stosst mit ihm an.

Where else can you get power and wi-fi with no tariff and a sociable host? You have to use your on-board toilet and bring your own water, but this site has more character than the entire KOA network.

There is a shower contrary to another post, but he lives in an RV and this is home base, so the shower he will share is an RV shower. Power and wifi all over the place. Just say hi and if you want the real info read his website, as he will tell you he doesn't own wikicamps. Original source info is better than second hand.
