Description

Deer, elk, and red-tailed hawks are usually spotted from the Tie Creek campground. It sits on the banks of Middle Fork Payette River providing excellent whitefish and rainbow trout fishing. Several trails for hiking, biking, horseback and ATV riding are accessible nearby. It has a total of 8 first come, first served sites. Some have views of the river and shaded by Douglas fir and lodgepole pine trees. Picnic tables, fire rings, water, and vault toilets are available. Dogs are allowed but must be on leash. It is open from May to October. Camping fee is $15 a night.
