Description

This wilderness is a 2,366,757-acre forest consisting of mountains, canyons, and rivers. The most massive range here is the Salmon River Mountains. Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness also has Salmon River Canyon which is one of North America's deepest gorges, even deeper than Grand Canyon of Colorado and Arizona.
