Harriman State Park spans a 16,000-acre wildlife refuge in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem known for its beautiful scenery and wildlife. The park boasts 22 miles of hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails that go through meadows, meander along river banks and through lush evergreen forests. Visitors can stay overnight in Harriman's unique overnight facilities, such as the rustic yurts or Ranch Manager's House. There are also rental facilities, which are perfect for family events, weddings, retreats and learning conferences.

Nice place to spot wildlife. There is also a short walk from the end carpark to some historic building that you can walk through. Nice picnic area next to river. Fishing is allowed but catch and release. It might be possible to pay to ride horses here.
