One of few remaining 3000 original Lincoln Highway markers, this one dated 1928. Found on the north side of the highway at Lincoln-Way Central High School. There's a gazebo with more information about the Lincoln Highway, 'the first successful, all-weather, coast-to-coast automobile highway' in the nation.
