I think this is the best option to explore Chicago. It's just a big parking lot (+500 spots). Felt safe. 35$ for 24h. Public transport nearby.

We stayed on this parking 48hours (two nights) and found it perfect to explore Chicago. In the back of the lot were probably 15 more RVs. The lot is big and there were no events in the convention center so we had more space around our motorhome than we have on most RV parks.
