Description
Lake Wapello State Park boasts a variety of outdoor opportunities such as canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Named after the famous Native American Chief Wapello, it features over 1,000 acres of beautiful wooded hillsides and a beach house built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corp. Its pueblo style architecture makes it one of the most unique buildings in the state park system.
