Several structures in the park such as the stone arch bridge, shelters, and lodge were built by prisoners of nearby Anamosa State Penitentiary. It offers 3 miles of trails, river fishing, golfing, and exploring opportunities.
It has a shaded campground with electric and non-electric sites. Restrooms and showers are available.
