Description

he 275-acre Hillview Recreation Area contains a mixture of open grasslands, reconstructed prairie, woodlands, and wildlife habitat. Year around outdoor activities that are available include camping, both primitive and modern; camping cabins, picnicking, including shelters, fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding and cross country skiing over a network of trails that traverse the entire park. Our 3.3 acre pond offers fishing opportunities from shore. The beach at the pond is open from Memorial Day - Labor Day. There are no lifeguards on duty, so swimming is at your own risk. Pets are not allowed on the beach. Tobacco and alcohol are also not allowed on the beach.
