This property was the site of the 1961 fire known in Lake Mills as the Lake Mills Main Street fire. Inside you will find pictures of local firefighters, fire scenes, antique fire equipment, turnout gear as well as other firefighting related items. Included is a wall with an Iowa map where firefighters can place their department's patch and be recognized. The wall currently includes patches from around the United States and has even included batches from around the world.
