Description

The Sedgwick County Zoo is an AZA-accredited wildlife park and major attraction, which has quickly become recognized both nationally and internationally for its support of conservation programs and successful breeding of rare and endangered species. It houses over 3,000 animals of nearly 400 species. Visitors can see some of the wildest and endangered animals from around the world, such as the gorillas and elephants of Africa, the bison and bears native to North America, and the orangutans and tigers from Asia.
