Description
Occupying a 6,000-acre site in the Atchafalaya Basin, Lake Fausse Pointe State Park offers opportunities for fishing, boating, and canoeing as the boat lauch gives visitors easy access to the waterways. Those looking to camp can 'rough it' at the campground or stay in one of the lakefront cabins.
There's also a visitor center complex with a boat dock and rentals, three hiking trails, and a canoe trail with an view of the area's plant and wildlife.

This is a very nice park, with beautiful sunsets at the lakes. Very good and clean restrooms, pretty new. Mosquitos .... yessss.... but not now.
