Description
Basin St. Station is the center for economic and cultural activities, and welcomes thousands of visitors into New Orleans every day. It is the city of New Orleans' welcome center with adjoining landscaped parking for visitors.
Check out the first floor housing a staffed visitor information center with educational community exhibits, a performance venue, a walking tour kiosk, and an authentically New Orleans and Louisiana gift shop. Or, go up to the fourth floor, which is a special function venue with a kitchen, stage, banquet space, and rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of downtown New Orleans.

Basin St Station is a visitors center as well as stop 5 on the hop on hop off tour. You can also book a range of other tours from this location. There is free short term parking directly in front of the building and a good priced parking lot directly next door. 24 hour parking is available in the parking lot next door also.
