Description

The Abita Creek Flatwoods Preserve is a premiere wetland community featuring pond cypress woodland, carnivorous plants, and a riparian forest. Open year-round, see an interpretive trail/boardwalk that provides visitors with a good opportunity to experience a range of habitats native to the preserve. There's also a convenient parking area with easy access to the trailhead. There are no restroom facilities available onsite, and dogs and other pets are not permitted.
