Description

Tucked in the Catoctin Mountains, the park has opportunities for several recreations like hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, and hunting. It is divided into two areas. The William Houck Area which has a lake, falls, and campground; and the Manor Area with the aviary, Catoctin Iron Furnace, and campsites. William Houck has 33 electric sites, 106 basic sites, and 8 camper cabins. Manor Area is a smaller with just 10 electric sites and 21 basic sites. Both areas have bathhouse and showers. Picnic tables, fire rings and grills are provided. Camping fee is $21.50 to $27.50 a night.
