Description
The Green Briar Nature Center is a sanctuary of peace and beauty throughout the seasons on the shores of Smiling Pool and adjacent to the famous Briar Patch of Thornton Burgess's stories. It is home to the Dr. Shirley G. Cross Wildflower Garden and a number of small resident animals, and the Jam Kitchen, which is a 'living museum' where visitors have an opportunity to view the cooking process first-hand.
