Description

Alpine Campground has been family owned and operated by the original founders and owners for 50 years! Tucked in on the north side of U.S. Highway 2, between Bessemer and Wakefield on the Western end of Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula, and right alongside the Black River, Alpine is a serene little piece of heaven just off the beaten path. Roomy sites with plenty of space to enjoy a relaxing campfire without worrying about disturbing your 'neighbors.' Whether you are pitching a tent or driving a big rig, we have sites to make everyone's camping experience a pleasure. You can stay on our sites next to the Black River, out in our open area, or nestled back in our wooded area near our natural spring-fed lake. Many of our sites are pull-thru's so there's no need to worry about having to back up your long 5th-wheel or large motorhome.
