Description
The Hinkly House is a beautifully preserved and accurately restored Victorian period home, featuring 12 rooms, two bathrooms and a story-high attic built in 1892. The home is built of Sioux quartzite from R. B. Hinkly's Blue Mound Quarry, and has a tunnel in the basement which connects to a 'cellar' in the backyard where dynamite for a quarry was stored.
