Description

Dunleith is an antebellum mansion built around 1855, and is Mississippi's only surviving example of a plantation house with a fully encircling colonnade of Greek Revival columns. The National Historic Landmark is now an inn and a conference center, and offers other outbuildings including a carriage house, a dairy barn, a poultry house, and a three-story brick courtyard building that historically would have housed the kitchen, laundry and slave quarters.
