Description

Trace State Park offers secluded nature trails, fishing opportunities, and a lot of water recreations. One of America's early pioneers, Davy Crockett, once lived here as a horse trader with Chickasaw Indians. The park has a laundry, playground, and pavilion. It has 16 primitive tent sites along the lake and 76 RV sites with full hookups. Picnic tables, fire rings, dump station, bath house and showers are all available in the park.

Really nice park. The lake is drained for the foreseeable future due to a levee breech and rebuild. The sites are large and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again, even without the 'waterfront' views.
