Stayed here in September 2020. You'll hit a rocky beach to start, which is where a lot of people seem to stop and camp, but I recommend going a bit further. You'll hit trees and dirt - much better for tent camping. Lots of dispersed sites with ready-to-go rock fire pits, but bring your own wood, didn't find much around. Managed to find a place to hang my hammock as well. Was pretty popular when I was here but still pretty quiet. Had two portable latrines in good condition, but no water or electricity hookups if you need those. The river is beautiful. For the low low price of free, this spot is legit. Would definitely stay again.

Looks beautiful and camping is allowed here for three days. You do really need a high clearance 4WD to get there though

Great sites on the waterfront and in around trees. High clearance vehicle needed. Mountain views and lots of washed up wood/trees from previous flood. 2 thumbs up.
