Description

Rexford Bench Campground is the most highly developed campground within the Kootenai National Forest, and one of the most popular destinations for boating, fishing and swimming on Lake Koocanusa, and hiking in the surrounding forest. The campground offers dozens of accessible, single-family sites for tent and RV camping, with 19 sites available for reservation and the remaining are on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a large parking area available for boat trailers and RVs as well. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and a campfire ring with a grill. The campground also features accessible flush toilets and drinking water, as well as paved parking spurs and roads.
